So, as Jerry andEsther were driving to San Diego on Thursday, they 

spent the night in Yuma.Esther said, “This could be dangerous, given all 

the 

rhetoric Abraham has beengiving about getting stuck in Yuma.” And then Esther said, “Wouldn’t it be funto take a picture of a highway sign to put in the Quarterly Journal? SinceAbraham has been talking so much about not getting stuck in Yuma, let’s take apicture of us stuck in Yuma.” She said, “We’ll get 

the big red suitcase out andwe’ll put it by the street sign and I’ll sit on it and look discouraged, andyou can take a picture.” And then, Jerry pointed out that the highway sign was20 feet in the air and he would not be able to get the picture of Esthersitting in front of it. And Esther said, “Well

then, let’s justtake some pictures of some signs.” And so, they got onto 

the freeway, and rightaway, Esther saw the best possible sign. It said “Phoenix 

that way, San Diegothat way.” And Esther said, “That’s the perfect sign; 

take the picture!” ButJerry could not get the camera turned on in time. 

So Jerry said, “Let’s make au-turn,” which is not the easiest thing to do 

with a 65-foot rig. But Esthermanaged to turn it around and come back 

around to the sign. And this time, thecamera had turned itself off; it took too long. (Fun!) So, they looped aroundagain, and this time,the camera said “no memory space.” So, they looped aroundagain. Esther dumped the pictures out of the camera. They turned on thegenerator, plugged the camera into the generator, looped around one last time,and got the picture. Esther said, “That was close. I thought we were going tobe stuck in Yuma! It’s the self-fulfilling prophecy.” (Fun!) When you knowwhere you want to be, and, more importantly, you 

know where you are inrelationship to where you want to be, then and only then, are you able toalways move in the right direction. The only thing that is

keeping you from theglorious, powerful, free, joyous life experience that 

you are meant to live, isthat you have practiced thoughts until they have

become habitual thoughts, evenbeliefs, dominant beliefs, dominant thoughts, which sometimes keep you fromexperiencing the Well-Being that would 

be there if you were not doing that.Well-Being is the only stream that 

flows. You don’t walk into a room and lookfor a dark switch; you look for 

the 

switch that will resist the light. Andthere is not a source of darkness or a 

source of evil or a source of sickness,or a source of confusion. There is 

not a source of any of that bad stuff; it’sjust you not letting in the good 

stuff.

小麦老师备注：本文的意思是，夫妇两人去圣地亚哥，可是途中在尤马（美帝一个城市）停留，找不到方向标志牌，于是出现一系列的烦恼事情，做事非常不顺利。这里只是比喻，我们在用吸引力法则的时候，当下的情况去到愿望的情况，其实就像你在广州去到北京一样，在途中你迷失方向，或者出现让你困扰的事情，让你不能到达北京，这不是有什么坏思想，或者糟糕的能量，而是你阻止了能量流动，也就是没有黑暗，只是我们阻止了光明。只要我们的当下调整好感受，那么你就是向着愿望前进，你所走的方向是正确的。
