The Shuffle Demons在1984年首次进入加拿大听众的视野。像Sun Ra、Charles Mingus、Run-D.M.C.和Beastie Boys一样，他们以令人惊艳的方式融合了多种风格的音乐，让人们眼前一亮。这支乐队是无法以流派归类的，他们富于趣味，也给人以无比愉悦的视觉体验，最重要的是，他们真的很会演奏！所有这些夺人眼球、令观众大呼过瘾的绝技，都是基于他们扎实的音乐功底和卓越的演奏才能。

经历了一系列成员变动，乐队在1997年解散。2004年，朱诺奖获得者、萨克斯手Richard Underhill，萨克斯手Perry White、Kelly Jefferson，低音提琴手George Koller和鼓手Stich Wynston再次走到了一起，以一张新精选合辑和重组巡演宣告The Shuffle Demons的正式回归。他们以优质的新阵容继续着The Shuffle Demons的音乐旅程，并在2012年发行了暌违十七年的全新创作专辑《Clusterfunk》。有理由相信，他们新作绝不会辜负一直以来追随他们的忠实听众，更会为他们赢得一大批新的乐迷。

What do you get when you cross three amazing saxophonists dressed in wacky clothes, a crazy dancing drummer and a killer upright bass player and have them sing songs about buses, roaches and hockey and spend half of their time playing in the audience? The Shuffle Demons, that's what! They were a band that captured the imagination of a generation with their antics and amazing no-holds-barred playing and stopped traffic on a regular basis. And now they're back!

The Shuffle Demons first broke onto the Canadian music scene in 1984 with an electrifying musical fusion that drew in equal measure from Sun Ra, Charles Mingus, Run-D.M.C. and Beastie Boys. This band is genre-bending, highly visually entertaining, funny, and best of all, can really PLAY. All their eye catching, crowd-pleasing stunts are backed up by incredibly solid musicianship and real groundbreaking playing.

Over a more than 30-year span The Shuffle Demons have released eight CDs, two hit videos, won several music awards, done numerous TV and radio appearances and toured nationally and internationally.

After several member changes, the band spilt-up in 1997 and announced its comeback with a new greatest-hits CD to coincide with a reunion tour in 2004. The Shuffle Demons continues the tradition today with a great line-up of players that includes Juno Award winner Richard Underhill on sax and vox, Perry White and Kelly Jefferson on saxes, George Koller on bass and Stich Wynston on drums. They just released a new CD “Clusterfunk” in 2012. The CD features 12 new compositions that will be sure to please long time fans and new listeners alike.
